Kathy Kirk worked with Walt Disney Imagineering in a variety of design and administrative roles for over 22 years gaining a reputation as a successful "creative casting agent". As director of Creative Development, Kathy hired and then managed the talent responsible for the design and production of the Disney theme parks:

• Epcot Center
• Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World
• Euro Disneyland
• Tokyo Disneyland
• Disney’s California Adventure
• Tokyo DisneySea

She has had primary responsibility for her department’s budget, with up to 100 direct reports in the creative division. She has traveled both internationally and nationally, speaking on the topic of Walt Disney Imagineering’s creative process, recruiting new talent and working with prominent art schools in career planning. Kathy began her design career as an art educator and artist.
